Inverness County Council has chosen Betty Ann MacQuarrie as its new Warden. MacQuarrie was elected to her second term in District 5 where she manages the Pioneer’s Shrine in Mabou. Alfred Poirier was elected Deputy Warden.
Their selections came hours after a recount confirmed John Dowling as the winner over Dwayne MacDonald in District 6.
