Sunday Services were held again at the Stone Church to celebrate it’s reopening after a year of renovations.
The Anglican church held its re-dedication service with about 150 people in attendance. Rev. Dr. John Paul Westin told the Telegraph-Journal they had to tear down the meeting hall because of mould problems and build new additions. The renovation cost close to $1 million. He said there were challenges in meeting modern building codes in a structure that’s almost 200 years old.
