About a hundred people turned out for a public meeting last night on proposed toll roads in the province.
The Cape Breton Post reports the Transportation Department got an earful about the state of highways in Cape Breton not just whether there should be tolls to pay for twinning of Highway 4. People in the crowd complained about the state of current roads from the quality of painted lane markers to the size of rocks in the asphalt, but particularly about the rutting on Highway 125.
