Police have two youths in custody following an incident in Halifax this morning.
At approximately 8:39 a.m., two white males wearing dark clothing entered the Centennial Building at 1276 South Park Street, yelling, swearing and making reference to getting explosives. Officers searched the area with the assistance of the K-9 and Explosive Disposal Units, however, nothing suspicious was located and police have since left the area.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., patrol officers located the two suspects in the 6000 block of Coburg Road. The two 17-year-olds, both from Halifax, were arrested without incident and are currently in police custody. The investigation is ongoing with respect to possible charges.
