A landmark downtown Moncton hotel is getting a makeover.
Work begins Monday on the Crowne Plaza on Main Street. General Manager Gerald Normandeau told the Times and Transcript it’s a full facelift costing $5 to $6 million dollars. They’ll take everything down to the studs and concrete floors and refurbish them. He downplayed the link with the new Events Centre saying the hotel’s last renovations were a decade ago and were due.
