Pipe Burst Floods Yarmouth Hospital

The Yarmouth Regional Hospital suffered major flood damage after a frozen pipe burst on Saturday. The pipe burst in Building B of the hospital, which houses everything from the cafeteria to diagnostic imaging. The pipe was located on an upper floor and water poured down stairwells and through ceiling tiles. The ER remains open and the health authority was holding emergency meetings last night and this morning to determine how to work around the flooded areas of the hospital.
