A report from Stats Can says Halifax’s homicide rate was the ninth highest among Canadian cities last year…higher than Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
There were 8 homicides in the city giving a rate of 1.91 per 100,000 people. There have been 12 homicides so far this year.
