Demolition of a hoarder’s house in North Sydney is on hold, according to the CBC.
CBRM ordered the house on Campbell Street torn down as a health, safety and fire hazard in January. It’s packed with stuff including rotting garbage, animal waste and mould.
The owner, Sylvia Dolomont; was granted several extensions so she could clean up the property. While a cleanup was started it was not finished. Now Dolomont has gone to court and won a temporary injunction to halt the demolition.
