The Supreme Court of Canada will decide a New Brunswick case of beer…actually several cases.
The high court says it will hear the Crown’s appeal of the ruling in Campbellton which found Gerard Comeau not guilty of bringing too much alcohol across the border from Quebec.
The Crown wants the Supreme Court to decide the case because of the huge implications when it comes to provincial liquor monopolies and all inter-provincial trade. No date has been set yet…probably some time next year.
