There’s a low pressure system moving up the eastern seaboard which will broing some rain tomorrow night and Wednesday. But it will also bring very high tides in conjunction with the supermoon.
Environment Canada says one of the highest tides of the year is expected near noon Wednesday on this side of the Bay and Nova Scotia as well. Storm surge and waves from the low will give higher than normal water levels for most of the Bay of Fundy near high tide Wednesday, but currently the guidance suggests that little or no flooding will occur. However, if the storm intensifies, watches or warnings may be required.
