Acadian Affairs Minister Michel Samson is wondering why the Acadian Federation is threatening to take the riding boundary dispute to court. It wants the boundaries changed to reflect a court decision before an election is called.
Samson says that isn’t neccessary since the government and Acadian Federation have been talking and he claims they are close to a process to address those concerns.
The Federation says calling an election before the boundaries are settled would be unconstitutional. Samson disagrees.
